Jay is now planning a series of teleseminar calls around his long-time story-in-progress, Mage.
Jay says, "Mage began as part of a story I created for my family when my children were young. It takes place on a magical island on the wild sea, where a young girl, Mage, and her grandmother cling to the hope that an old prophecy will come true and restore their troubled island. This is a story about leadership, hope, and the strength of women in the face of injustice and intimidation."
These calls make you a partner with Jay, who needs these calls as writing deadlines, as a small source of income to partially fund the writing time, and, most importantly, as a chance for him to read the latest chapters of the book to a group and get supportive feedback.
If you sign up, you’ll be part of a group that:
1. Listens for 50 minutes to the newest installment of the story;
2. Tells Jay some things that were interesting or moving in what you heard; and
3. Asks Jay any questions or shares any thoughts you have about the story or the process of writing it.
To make this something Jay can afford to do, he’ll charge you a modest fee.
Then, to reward you for being part of the team that helps Jay finally finish this book, Jay will acknowledge you in any future written versions of the story: your name will appear as a “ listening partner” in the story’s development. Plus, your feedback will have a chance to shape the story!
There will be three “ sections,” each one meeting three times over about four months at the same time of day and day of the week.
